At Natya Nrithyalya we are passionate about Bharathanatyam and our Indian culture. Our mission is to spread the knowledge of this wonderful art form.
About Us
Shrilakshmi Sathengeri started learning Bharatanatyam at a tender age of three and followed it up with the Arangetram, around six years, in Chennai- India. Shrilakshmi is well versed in Kalakshetra and Dhandayudapani Pillai dance styles, which she learned from eminent Gurus, Smt. Sikkil Vasantha Kumari and Late Smt. Malathi Srinivasan.
In 2010, Shrilakshmi founder her Bharathanatyam dance school, Natya Nrithyalaya Phoenix. Her students have given many memorable performances around the valley and in various Indian community associations. In 2016, dance school did their 1st dance drama production “Kuravanji” at Chandler Center for Arts.
